Monrovia Maternity Portraits

Jordan as always been beautiful, but now that she’s expecting?

Yeah, she’s stunning.

You probably recognize her from our previous photo session with Jordan and her husband, Rob.

Or maybe you’ve seen her on the Union Station photo at the top of this blog?

How many photo sessions does it take for someone to become a muse?

What I loved about Jordan’s maternity session was trying to capture both sides of Jordan: she exudes both maternal strength and tenderness.

Everyone that knows this beautiful woman knows that she has a keen sense of justice. Jordan has dedicated the past few years to advocacy for woman and children with limited resources.

In fact, Jordan is this close to finishing her graduate work at Fuller Seminary (my alma mater + daniel’s as well) where she will receive her Masters in Intercultural Studies, with an emphasis in at-risk children.

Jordan’s husband, Rob, is earning his MBA at Pepperdine University, where he is learning how to combine his interest in business with worldwide social justice.

These two three are going to change the world, no question.

Most of the photos from Jordan’s maternity shoot were, shall we say, au naturel. They’re slightly too personal for the web, so this blog post will be brief.

Jordan, you are so special.

I can’t wait to meet the little guy or girl in your belly, and to surround them with love in our church!

What a blessed child.

Update: Jordan’s beautiful baby girl, Selah Justice was born on Oct. 17th, 2010.  You can view her baby portrait session here.
