Heidi + Matt held their sixth (and final) wedding reception at their aunt and uncle’s estate in Puyallup, Washington.
We will be stating the obvious for our Washington readers, but this is Mount Ranier.
Heidi + Matt’s wedding reception offered the most breathtaking view
of this active volcano we have ever seen.
Stunning.
Heidi + Matt really know how to throw a party (see exhibit A: their impeccably designed wedding reception in a Malibu vineyard).
Their Washington wedding reception had its own special element to set it apart from the others:
It was a fiesta!
On a sunny day in the gorgeous state of Washington, there’s nothing better than a hospitable home,
a bucket of chilled beverages,
Sangria (described as ‘the best ever’ by guests),
And berries picked that morning.
The dessert room, though? Paradise.
This is what I dream about…
Heidi + Matt’s style is colorful, whimsical, and fun.
The pinwheels were a genius touch.
Of course, the best part of Heidi + Matt’s wedding receptions are the relationships.
Since this reception was essentially a family reunion, the gathering was particularly meaningful.
The generations joining together in one home was really heart-warming.
Such as Ms. Cindy Lou-Hoo and her parents..
And Heidi’s Grandmother, who was a complete joy.
Just looking at these images reminds me of the love we felt there!
Of course, every good Fiesta includes a pinata for the kiddos.
And who better to man the games than Matt?
You may be thinking, “Wow, how considerate of Heidi + Matt to include games for the kids at their wedding reception!”
And that is true.
But really, watching a child pray, “Please God! I really need this!” before whacking a pinata is priceless entertainment for adults, too!
After the pinata festivities, everybody took some time outside, enjoying the lush landscape and good company.
If I had to pick one word to describe Heidi + Matt’s sixth wedding reception,
it would be “Home.”
And for Heidi + Matt? That’s a great place to be.
Thank you to Heidi + Matt + their family for a WONDERFUL time!
Warmly,
daniel + megan
